GEOGRAPHIC / DEMOGRAPHIC TARGETED POSTING

Over the past year, we have tested initiatives with some of our clients that specifically targets select demographics via Facebook. We have seen 50-60% higher engagement on posts that were targeted to a specific gender, age, or location. In addition, posts with specific targeting and a small advertising spend (boosted posts) saw amazing results.

We believe that increasing the use of geographic and demographic targeted posts to nearly 75% of all Facebook posts will help in creating a more personalized and targeted experience for fans.

We gather the geographic and demographic targeted information from our social analytics and from direct fan content.

GEO-FENCING

As we continue to expand our engagement efforts with our clients, using tools that allow us to geo-fence areas will provide the opportunity to search by location to find data that may be missed by traditional keyword and hashtag monitoring tools. This will give us access to a dataset that was not previously available and provide the opportunity to engage and monitor differently. We see this tool to be useful for multiple initiatives including in-store direct consumer engagement, customer service, and security.
